Got Caffeine???

Last week Sunday was our Cult Christmas Party...I meet every month with a group of friends to scrapbook and create....we call it our cult.  We each made 10 gift card holders and then had to guess who made which one.  These are mine.  I cut the cup with the Love You A Latte Cricut cartridge and used the stamp and die from The Stamps of Life called coffe4two.  I used Close to My Hearts Kraft, Colonial White and Olive Cardstock, the Cranberry bakers twine. These work great for coffee gift cards.

Downward Dog

I have been taking a Christian based yoga class at church.  We are breaking for the holidays and I wanted to thank our awesome instructor for her amazing classes so I found this image online and colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers.  I think she turned out really cute and Brenna was thrilled to receive it.  I find it very relaxing to sit and color and have decided I need to do it more often!!

Heard You Caught a Bug

One of my precious Awana clubbers is real sick with a high fever and had to make a trip to the emergency room:(   so I wanted to send him a card to let him know I was praying for him.  I used Taylored Expressions Wheeling Great stamp Set.....  It is a very cute VW Bug with die and cute sentiments.  Here is the card I made...

I hope it cheers him up and that my prayers are answered and I get to see his smiling face on Wednesday!!

The Stamps of Life

I have been following Stephanie Barnard's YouTube channel for some time.  I purchased the Coffee4two a few years back at the Scrapbook Expo.  I love her and her stamps and artwork and have been fighting the urge to sign up for her stamp of the month club...well I gave in and have joined and also added the die hard club to my membership;)

I made time to play with my stamps and dies so here is what I created...

The first 2 cards I used the coffee4two stamp and die sets

This card was made using the onesie4baby stamp set and die

For the cards I used Close to My Heart Babycakes Paper Pack and inks.

Square 1 Masterpiece Projects

I have been playing with this awesome product made by Square 1 Masterpiece.  "It is a safe alternative to vinyl and is the first completely cleanly removable, repositionable, restickable, acid and PVC free adhesive backed fabric that will take all your home decor, DIY and crafting to new levels!"

You print with an ink jet printer and then stick where ever you want. I was meeting with my scrappin cult buddies and decided to make us all a cult member bag.  I took a group picture I had and printed with some added graphics and waalaa...instant cult bag.  I heat set it on the bag hoping the adhesive would become permanent...I will let you know if it worked.  Square 1 Masterpiece does have an iron on but I do not have it yet.

I also took a piece of my artwork and printed it up and made a bag just for me...it is a self portrait I did in a Joanne Sharpe online class I took...love how it turned out.

Yikes..It's been awhile!!

Wow, time is flying by and I have been so busy with my other Close to My Heart blog that I have neglected this one:(

I wanted to share some pendents I had made...I was really having problems with photographing them so I only got one picture that was post worthy.  While in CA visiting Mom I bought some ICE Resin to play with and can I just say how great this product is!!  It is so easy to use and foolproof...I mean if I can do it anyone can;)  Here is one of the pendents I made..

For the background I used some of my alcohol inked papers.  The turtle and pendent blank is from Spellbinders.  I used beads for the "turtle bubbles".  I have to admit the it is prettier in person...the camera and I were at war with trying to get this picture.  I think I need to take a class on how to photograph jewelry!!!

Thanks for hopping by...hopefully it will not be such a long time between posts:)
