Happy Birthday

Here is a birthday card I made using the Simon Says Balloon Bouquet Craft Die. 

There are endless possibilities with this die.  I cut the die out of white, navy and the then cut balloons out of red, yellow, orange, blue and green.  I used the negative of the white to be my base and then put the balloons together like a puzzle.  It was fun to piece it back together and watch it come to life.

I used the Sizzix Step-up Card Basics Set to make this card.  It was so fast and easy.  The papers and embellishments came for the October 2014 Card Kit.

Please Pray for Trucker Duke

There is a little guy named Trucker who needs a miracle...he is a battle for his life....He is 19 months old and has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer....here is a link to his story Click Here.

I was so moved by this story that I just wanted to do something to help.  I had a craft show that I was going to be doing on Dec. 6th so I decided to make 10 hand-stamped leather bracelets to sell for $20 each with all the money going to Trucker's Cancer Fund.

I sold 7 and was able to give the money to Trucker's Grandma who was there along with 2 bracelets for Mom and Dad.  She asked if I was going to be selling then anywhere and I did not have an answer for her.  June K Harper a professional photographer and the administrator of the Team Trucker Facebook page, called me to say they had had requests for the bracelets and how could people order them?  I had set up an Etsy Store and never did anything with it so I decided to list the bracelets for people to buy.  It has been 6 days and I have sold 18 bracelets through Etsy that is $360 plus I have sold an additional 8 at church so that is a total of $520 going to Trucker's Cancer Fund...Thank you Jesus!!

The Stamps of Life October 2014 Card Club

Here are 2 cards I made using the October Card Kit.
  
This first card I cut the floral paper with the laying piece from the Elegant stand-up die.  

The next card is cut with the circle flip-it card die.  I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and used one of the clips on the front of the card.

Thanks A Latte

I have a dear sweet friend who is moving away and we had our last Panda Express dinner last night :(  I made her a card and a scripture leather wrap bracelet.  Here is the card I made for her.....she love Starbucks!!  I used the Thanks A Latte Cricut cartridge and the cup holds a gift card. The paper is from Close To My Heart  Pathfinding Paper pack, the sparkle flourishes and the heart are also CTMH.  The stamp os from The Stamps of Life coffee4two stamp and die set

Here is dear sweet Carissa with her cake at our bible study.  Love this girl!!!
