Steampunk

I entered a Steampunk ATC swap at ScrappyHappiness
I am new to steampunk, but thought it would be fun to try....I have to say I really enjoyed making these cards.  I used my Gelli Plate to do my backgrounds and used my Cricut Artiste cartridge to cut my gears.  I embossed my cut gears with various embossing powders. I added one of Tim Holtz's sprocket gears to each card.  I will be use more steampunk in my artwork in the future:)

Gelli Plate FUN

I made time to play with my Gelli Plate....I have to say this thing is addictive.  Each print comes out different so it is so exciting to see what comes up.  Here are just some of my prints. 

 

This last picture is done on coffee filters. I love the bright bold colors:)  Now I just have to incorporate them into my art projects.

I am starting another blog????

I am starting another blog just for my artwork....am I nuts or what??  I will keep Stampin Maui for my Close to My Heart stuff and will start posting my artsy stuff here.  

I am addicted to taking online art classes and  have been posting my work on my stamping blog but decided I wanted to separate the two.

I am signed up for the Life Book 2013 and want to post things here for that class.
