Make a Wish

I belong to the Stamps of Life Month Stamp & Die Club and our set this month is so cute and perfect for birthdays.  Here are to cards I made using candles4birthday stamps and dies.

My Mom was asking me for some birthday cards so these will be going to her. I used CTMH Seaside paper for the bottom one and Glacier Cardstock for the top, which I embossed with the Dot embossing folder.  I love how they turned out.

Shine On

I am doing the Stretch Your Stamps 2 Online Card Class.  If you have not taken any of their classes you really should.  They have amazing artists teaching all kinds of wonderful techniques.  Day 7 was titled Graphic Stamps and I just fell in love with this technique presented by Debby Hughes.  I immediately went to find a graphic stamp I could use and found Glitter Glam by Close to My Heart .   Here is the card I made.

I used the brand new colored inks from Close to My Heart...Flaxen, Glacier, Canary, Pixie and Thistle.  I also added Pretty Pink Posh Summer collection sequins which matched perfectly.  I love how it turned out and it was easy, which I am all about:)

New Pretty Pink Posh Dies

I received my new Pretty Pink Posh dies, Stitched Duo 2 and Stitched Film Strip and I had to make time to play.  Here is a card I made using the Stitched Film Strip.

I used some paper that was in my stash and do not know who made it sorry.  The stamp set I used is from Close to My Heart and it is called Cuddly Salutations which is a Hostess Rewards Stamp.  I think it is so cute and works well with this die.  I also used my new Pretty Pink Posh Summer Mix sequins.

Trust Bracelet

I am taking Christy Tomlinson's Belt Bracelet Class.  I have a bunch of blank leather bands I bought for youth group so I used one of those instead of a belt.  I also used crystal rivets I got from ImpressArt.  It is my first try at metal stamping and it is something that takes some practice!!  It is fun though and I plan on making many more.

Playing with my Pretty Pink Posh Goodies

I received my order last week from Pretty Pink Posh. I ordered her 2 dies and her spring mix sequins.  I finally found the time to play with them today.  I love her products and she is such a special lady.  I love watching her on YouTube.  Here is  a card I made.  It is my very first shaker card, but I am pleased with how it turned out.  I used the Stitched Duo dies.

I used The Stamps of Life hot4balloons stamp and die sets.  The cardstock is Close to My Heart Pear, Daisy White, Lagoon and a bit of Honey. Ink colors I used are CTMH and are Honey, Cotton Candy and Thistle.  I used a piece of acetate from some packaging.  I have to admit I am smitten with sequins;)

You Color My World

If you are a follower you know I love rainbows and when I saw Nichol Magouirk's Be a Star YouTube video...I knew I had to try it using a rainbow of colors.   Here are my takes on her card. 

I love how they turned out and plan on doing more.  I used the Simon Says Heart Parade Die.  The My Favorite Things Abstract Art Samp Set and the CSA Art Stamp Set.  The You color my world is from The Stamps of Life words4crayons stamp set.  The inks and papers are all from Close to My Heart.

I got my Stamps of Life club stamp and dies for July and they are so "berry' cute.  The are called "strawberries2stamp".....here's a card I made using them.

I used the Close to My Heart Jubilee Paper.  I thought it was perfect for this set...reminded me of a summer picnic:)
