Sew Sweetness Clydebank Bag

Here is my Clydebank bag using Sew Sweetness pattern.  I quilted a rainbow jelly roll to make my rainbow fabric.  I was really fun to make.  Sara Lawson is an amazing teacher.

Minikin Metro Double Zip Pouch

Well I have discovered another craft...like I need another obsession ;)

I discovered Sara Sew Sweetness the original "bag lady' YouTube channel and have fallen in love with her bags and her teaching is incredible. So this month I am throwing my bag in the challenge.  This month the challenge is the Metro Double Zip Bag.  The pattern includes 3 sizes, and I chose to make the medium size.   It took 2 fat quarters, interfacing, 2 zippers and a  swivel clip with 1/2” and a 1/2 inch d-ring.

This pattern is included in the Minikins Season 2 bundle and includes written instructions and a wonderfully detailed step by step video.....you just cannot fail. 

Here is my completed bag. 

I love this bag and plan on making the small and large ones also.  It is a great bag to grab when you do not want to carry a big bag.  There is enough room for your phone, money and id.  Perfect!!

I Like Booties

I love booties....cute wee animal booties that is.  I love adorable Lawn Fawn Slow Down and Enjoy and the For You, Deer stamps & dies.  They have the cutest little booties.  Here is a set of cards I made using these.  I placed these cuties in little windows so that when you open it their little booties are there <3.  I used my Cricut to cut card bases and colored my little friends with my Copic markers.

Christmas Ornament/Tags

I am preparing for a craft show and am working on things to sell.  Here are some ornament/tags I have made.  I love the deer and bear with their cute bums on the back ;)  I also jumped on the shaker bandwagon and made some shaker ornament/tags.  

The majority of the products are from My Favorite Things Stamps, except for the figures in the bottom tags are from Simon Says Stamps. 

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

I have been preparing for a craft show at my church and have been making cards among other things.  Here are some cards I was working on yesterday.

I used the Simon Says Stamps Winter Friends stamp  and die set.  I colored the images with my ShinHan markers.

More totes

Here are all the tote bags I made since July.  I went "tote-ally" crazy ;)  As I mentioned in my last post these are made with a pattern designed by Patti Dubreui who taught a class at the Piecemaker's Country Store in Costa Mesa, CA

They are so much fun to make!

Wow, I have been neglecting my blog...

It has been a long time since my last post here.  I have been creating but have not been posting here only on FB.   This summer I visited my mom and took some classes.  I took a tote bag making class and an embroidered needle book  class at  Piecemakers Country Store in Costa Mesa. 

Here are some pictures of what I made:

My minion tote bag I made in a class taught by Patti Dubreuil.   It was so fun getting back to the sewing machine....it has been awhile since I have sewn....I missed it.

I was so excited about making my tote I bought fabric and made 3 more totes.  I will share pictures of those in another post.

Here is my needle book...so fun to make.

Being in the mood to sew I made some bags for my Bunko group prizes.  

I made these using the pattern I learned from my One Zip Way by Joan Hawley Craftsy Class.  Super fun to make and the girls who won them loved them!
