Here are all the tote bags I made since July. I went "tote-ally" crazy ;) As I mentioned in my last post these are made with a pattern designed by Patti Dubreui who taught a class at the Piecemaker's Country Store in Costa Mesa, CA
They are so much fun to make! Thanks for hopping by...now go and create!!
It has been a long time since my last post here. I have been creating but have not been posting here only on FB. This summer I visited my mom and took some classes. I took a tote bag making class and an embroidered needle book class at Piecemakers Country Store in Costa Mesa. Here are some pictures of what I made: My minion tote bag I made in a class taught by Patti Dubreuil. It was so fun getting back to the sewing machine....it has been awhile since I have sewn....I missed it.
I was so excited about making my tote I bought fabric and made 3 more totes. I will share pictures of those in another post. Here is my needle book...so fun to make.
Being in the mood to sew I made some bags for my Bunko group prizes.
I made these using the pattern I learned from my One Zip Way by Joan Hawley Craftsy Class. Super fun to make and the girls who won them loved them!
In August I was part of a challenge where we posted each day with our Bible Art Journaling...so here are my entries.
I am so obsessed with Bible Art Journaling and I am so thankful I was introduced to it. It has made my time with the LORD so much more fulfilling and personal. Thanks for hopping by....no go and CREATE :)
I am hooked on Bible Journaling....it has given me such a hunger for God's Word! I spent a good majority of this 3 day weekend journaling in my journal Bible. Here are the pages I did this weekend. This page was done with watercolor and Marvy Uchida LePen Pen.
I used my LePen and acrylic paint for this page.
The following page was done in honor of Memorial Day and got my inspiration from a few ladies on FB. I used my LePen and watercolor.
I used color pencils and my LePen on the page.
On this page I used my LePen and Caran d'Ache Neocolor II Aquarelle Water Soluble Wax Pastels
I used Peerless watercolors and my LePen on this page.
I used my LePen, stamp set from Close to My Heart and acrylic paint.
It has been awhile since I have posted....bad me!! I have found another creative love and it is Bible Journaling. I was introduced to this by Stephanie Ackerman and Shanna Noel. I am loving this way of studying scripture.....It brings the Word alive to me.
Here are some verses I have journaled:
Being a visual person and having a love of all things creative I am filled with the joy of God's Words when I art journal this way.
