Bible Art Journaling August 2015 Challenge

In August I was part of a challenge where we posted each day with our Bible Art Journaling...so here are my entries.

I am so obsessed with Bible Art Journaling and I am so thankful I was introduced to it.  It has made my time with the LORD so much more fulfilling and personal.

More Bible Journaling

I am hooked on Bible Journaling....it has given me such a hunger for God's Word!
I spent a good majority of this 3 day weekend journaling in my journal Bible.  Here are the pages I did this weekend. 

This page was done with watercolor and Marvy Uchida LePen Pen.

I used my LePen and acrylic paint for this page.

The following page was done in honor of Memorial Day and got my inspiration from a few ladies on FB.  I used my LePen and watercolor.

I used color pencils and my LePen on the page.

On this page I used my LePen and Caran d'Ache Neocolor II Aquarelle Water Soluble Wax Pastels

I used Peerless watercolors and my LePen on this page. 

I used my LePen, stamp set from Close to My Heart and acrylic paint.

This next one is for Rebekah Jones's Bible Journaling Challenge Week 1.  I used  Tim Holtz Distressed Inks and letter cut out of making paper. 

The following one is for Week 4.  I used my LePen and Caran d'Ache Neocolor II Aquarelle Water Soluble Wax Pastels.

Wow Time Flies

It has been awhile since I have posted....bad me!!  I have found another creative love and it is Bible Journaling.  I was introduced to this by Stephanie Ackerman and Shanna Noel.  I am loving this way of studying scripture.....It brings the Word alive to me.

Being a visual person and having a love of all things creative I am filled with the joy of God's Words when I art journal this way.

Here are a couple of cards I made using The Stamps of Life January 2015 Card Kit.  All the items used with exception of the "birthday stamp" were included in the kit.  It makes for some fun fast and easy cards.

Happy Birthday

Here is a birthday card I made using the Simon Says Balloon Bouquet Craft Die. 

There are endless possibilities with this die.  I cut the die out of white, navy and the then cut balloons out of red, yellow, orange, blue and green.  I used the negative of the white to be my base and then put the balloons together like a puzzle.  It was fun to piece it back together and watch it come to life.

You Make Me Happy

 Here is a card I made using The Stamps of Life products.  

I used the Sizzix Step-up Card Basics Set to make this card.  It was so fast and easy.  The papers and embellishments came for the October 2014 Card Kit.
