While in CA I got to attend a class at The Stamps of Life and then got to do some shopping.  I purchased the crayons2stamp and matching dies.  I finally found time to play with them.  I made 4 cards that I am going to send to Operation Write Home.  Here they are.....

They were so fun to make.  I used Close to My Heart, paper and ink to make them.  I hope they like them!!

I Love to Color

I spent some time coloring in a Saturated Canary Digital stamp this weekend.  It is called Traveling Colors and I think she is just so cute with her big bag of markers.  

I colored her using a combo of Shinhan markers and copics.  The sentiment is from The Stamps of Life words4crayons

.  

I also made my Ribbons girl into a card.  

It is so relaxing to just sit and color.....takes me back to my childhood and seriously who doesn't want to be a kid!!

A Washi Kind of Girl

Who doesn't like washi tape......well I love it and most of my friends love it too!!  Over on the Saturated Canary FB Group  there is an ATC Challenge. I love ATCs too so I jumped right in.  Here's is my ATC using Saturatd Canary Digital Stamp called Washi Kind of Girl.

It is a bit of a challenge to color such a small image, but I like how she turned out.

Saturated Canary Fight Like a Girl

Krista Smith @ Saturated Canary LLC released this digital stamp and I knew I had to color it.   I have known too many women who have fought like a girl beating breast cancer and I few who sadly lost to their fight.  Here is my first attempt at coloring it.  I need to make it into a card, but wanted to share it right away;)

I used my Shinhan markers to color her.  I love this image!!

Mixed Media Monday

I love Mondays because I get to hang out with Tracy Weinzapfel.  Yesterday I jumped in and painted with her.  We used Tombow markers as watercolor.  Here are the pictures I took while painting.

Gorjuss Stamps

This weekend I spent with my fellow "cult" members for our annual Staycation Crop.  Iris's husband gets a a couple of rooms and we spend the weekend creating, chatting, eating, laughing and a bit of sleeping.  It is so much fun and is hard to leave and enter back into the real world on Sunday afternoon!!!  

I borrowed Harriette's Gorjuss Stamp set....it is so CUTE.  I just love this girl!!!!  I stamped it twice and colored it with my Shinhan markers. 

I like the top one best....I made a few booboos on the bottom one...can you see them?  ;)

Make a Wish

I belong to the Stamps of Life Month Stamp & Die Club and our set this month is so cute and perfect for birthdays.  Here are to cards I made using candles4birthday stamps and dies.

My Mom was asking me for some birthday cards so these will be going to her. I used CTMH Seaside paper for the bottom one and Glacier Cardstock for the top, which I embossed with the Dot embossing folder.  I love how they turned out.

Shine On

I am doing the Stretch Your Stamps 2 Online Card Class.  If you have not taken any of their classes you really should.  They have amazing artists teaching all kinds of wonderful techniques.  Day 7 was titled Graphic Stamps and I just fell in love with this technique presented by Debby Hughes.  I immediately went to find a graphic stamp I could use and found Glitter Glam by Close to My Heart .   Here is the card I made.

I used the brand new colored inks from Close to My Heart...Flaxen, Glacier, Canary, Pixie and Thistle.  I also added Pretty Pink Posh Summer collection sequins which matched perfectly.  I love how it turned out and it was easy, which I am all about:)

New Pretty Pink Posh Dies

I received my new Pretty Pink Posh dies, Stitched Duo 2 and Stitched Film Strip and I had to make time to play.  Here is a card I made using the Stitched Film Strip.

I used some paper that was in my stash and do not know who made it sorry.  The stamp set I used is from Close to My Heart and it is called Cuddly Salutations which is a Hostess Rewards Stamp.  I think it is so cute and works well with this die.  I also used my new Pretty Pink Posh Summer Mix sequins.
